Online slots for passports to be increased to 2,500 from Jan 3, 2012
Woes of passport applicants are likely to end soon with the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad, deciding to enhance the number of online slots to 2,500, including tatkal, from Monday. Till now, the RPO was releasing around 1,800 slots every day for applicants from 18 districts.
