Robo Telugu rights sold for Rs 27 crore

Producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao is reported to have bought the Telugu rights of the Rs 110 cr budget 'Robo' for a record Rs.27 crores. He will release the movie in AP under his banner Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films .

There had been intense competition for the Telugu rights of Robo starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai directed by Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures. It is reported that there was intense competition among the noted distributors and producers of Tollywood for the Telugu rights of the film. Finally, the issue was clinched by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao.
