India's First Mobile Adalat in Andhra Pradesh

As a sequel to the initiatives taken in 2007 by then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Chief Justice of State High Court and the Judge-cum-Chairman Andhra Pradesh Legal Services Committee, the Government of Andhra Pradesh okays the launching of India's First Mobile Adalat at 3 places in the state on a pilot basis. The three places are Ranga Reddy district (Telangana), Kadapa (Rayalaseema) and Visakahapatnam (Coastal Andhra Pradesh). (1)The cabinet also approves Rs. 26 Lakh for each location to purchase vehicle and recruit staff on contract basis.
