Ace producer Shyam Prasad Reddy is demanding a whopping Rs 7 Cr for his latest Blockbuster film Arundhathi for satellite rights. He sold the satellite rights of Arundhathi to a person for Rs 1 Cr, a couple of years back. It is known that Shyam Prasad Reddy approached the same person just before the release of the film and requested to return the rights to him. But that person demands the price as Rs. 1.35 Cr and Shyam paid that amount and bought the rights back. After the release of Arundhathi, the same person contacted Shyam Prasad Reddy again for satellite rights and Shyam quoted a staggering amount of 7 Crores. This shows the success of the film. On the other hand, Arundhathi is on its way to become all time biggest grosser of Telugu film industry, Shyam Prasad Reddy is not selling satellite rights even for a whopping amount. It is also known that many Bollywood producers are approaching Shyam to acquire the remake rights of the film. But he is not selling the rights to anyone. He is now planning to remake the film in Hindi also.
